The new park across the river from Kalemegdan has to match it.  Situated on the opposite river banks these two parks, though different, should complement each other. New city architecture verses the old, modern verses ancient, flat terrain verses hilly – perfect counterbalance.  The idea is to use modern materials and features so that the facilities can meet the needs of modern man.
