Terazije park project has won a prize for design at the 1998. competition.   The design incorporated stairs, lifts or the ramps for the disabled due to its extremely steep terrain.  The underground station has been planned under the central square.  A square shaped area situated diagonally reminds of a boat heading towards the Sava river.  The same geometrically shaped area has a labyrinth partly made of plants and partly made of cascading fountains.  A main feature of the park is the observation point with the view stretching from the Terazije area towards Novi Beograd. The existing vegetation has been preserved.
