Terrace is exposed to the west and divided into a sunbathing area with wooden flooring and a sitting area shaded with a pergola. Although separated form the livingroom with glass doors, the terrace creates with it one unified space for relaxing. The plants are planted in built flowerbeds and decorative ceramic flower pots. The fountain consists of a vertical metal disc with a board for water overflow and a shallow pool. The dark grey colour of the back wall is repeated on flowerpots and the terracota of the facade bricks in the colour of flowers. Reflecting surfaces of water, metal and glass are a contrast to warm wooden floor, wicker furniture with soft cushions, shade of the pergola and the plants themselves. Nature lives in this small space through moving water, plants that grow, flower, smell, rustle, wilt…
