Design of the residential building envisioned flowerbeds covered with marble or decorative concrete. Later, along the edge of the property concrete flower pots were placed. The species used in planting are evergreen and deciduous shrubs, perrenials, climbers and annuals. The are all very adaptive to extreme conditions – great exposure to sun during summer, little space for root development and the possibility of root freezing because of the extreme cool down of concrete during winter. On the background of the green fasade and dark gray flowerbeds the darkgreen to gray leaves stand out and create harmony with purple and yellow flowers.
