Main design entails all crucial information for the successful construction of the project.

Graphic plan consists of:

- masterplan (‘bird perspective’ drawing depicting all objects, plants, patios, paths, basic contours)
- elevation plan (levelling and drainage, stairs, paths, contour lines etc.)
- layout plan ( all building elements: paths, patios, stairs, walls, fountains etc. plus building material they are made of as well as their exact measurements)
- planting plan (all plants are positioned according to the design, with measurements to nearest hard surfaces, and numbered according to the established specification )

- services plan (electrical, drainage, irrigation, sewage etc.) with plant positioning

- sections (showing changes in terrain for easier construction)

- details (enlarged sections of other plans, for example patio patterns or smaller plants plantihg sheme, construction details etc.)
- visualisation (3D CAD (Computer Aided Design) model showing various angles)

Additional plans may be:
- lighting plan (electrical installation and light sources positions)
- irrigation plan (complete plan of the zones, position of the pipes, sprinklers etc.)
- fountain project (complete building and hydro-technical plan)

Written design description consists of:
- project goal
- research and analysis (if needed)
- design description
- works and materials assessment
- cost specification
